Pool

The Austin Oaks Neighborhood Pool typically opens in early May, depending on weather. The pool season generally runs from May through September, the official closing date is announced as we approach the end of summer. The pool is maintained and regularly cleaned. There are ample lounge chairs lining the pool for sunbathing and relaxing while the kids keep cool in the water.

Pool Rules

It is important that all residents be familiar with and follow these pool rules. It is the responsibility of each resident to enforce and obey these rules.

The pool generally opens the weekend before Memorial Day and generally closes the weekend after Labor Day.

Pool hours are:

6:00 a.m. to 8 a.m. for Lap Swimming
8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. for Family Swimming

  1. No lifeguard on duty. Anyone using the pool does so at their own risk.
  2. No more than 4 guests per lot or resident family at a time. A resident of Austin Oaks must accompany all guests at all times.
  3. The pool cannot be reserved for parties or special events.
  4. Pets are not allowed in the pool area.
  5. Smoking is not allowed in the pool area.
  6. Only proper swimwear is allowed. Infants and diaper aged children must use rubber pants or swimming diapers.
  7. No open music is allowed in the pool or picnic area – headphones only.
  8. No glass is allowed in the pool area.
  9. Food and drink are only allowed in the designated picnic area, not in the immediate pool area.
  10. Please refrain from excessive boisterous and rough play so that you do not disturb other residents.
  11. The Austin Oaks HOA is not responsible for lost or stolen articles, accidents or injuries.
  12. Additional rules and regulations are posted in the pool area per the Indiana State Department of Health.
  13. There will be a $5.00 charge for the replacement of pool keys.
  14. No swimming alone. A responsible adult must accompany children under 14 years of age.
  15. No diving.
